Ate subscription

During onboarding, you will be prompted to choose a subscription: monthly or yearly. There is a FREE 7-day trial of Ate available for new subscribers before being charged the subscription that was initially chosen. During either the free trial or at any point of the subscription, it can be canceled through the Google Play Store.

When canceling during the FREE trial period, there is no charge. The payment only goes through once the free 7-day trial period is over.

All subscriptions are managed by Google, so everything must go through the standard Apple and Google confirmation and payment screens.

The subscription that was chosen automatically renews 24-hours prior to the end of the subscription unless auto-renew is turned off before this deadline. Again, cancellations, auto-renewals, and upgrades can be managed via the Google Play Store account.

Web-based Ate subscriptions

If you created your subscription through a special web link, please tap the same link to manage your subscription. If you no longer have the link, reach out to us via our support channel. The subscription that was chosen automatically renews 24-hours prior to the end of the subscription unless canceled before this deadline.

How to cancel a subscription

All app subscriptions on Android, including Ate's, are managed by Google.

To cancel an Android subscription: Please visit the Play Store from your phone and go into subscriptions. Your subscription will be there with Ate too and you can cancel it there.

Note: Ate is not able to cancel your subscription on your behalf.

If you do not see the “Cancel subscription” button, this means it has already been canceled. Once your subscription has been canceled, you will no longer see a cancel button. Instead, you will see an “Expires [date]” listed in the subscription description in the Your Subscription section on that page, with renewal options below.

How to cancel your Free-trial subscription

Once you activate a FREE trial through the app, you will need to cancel before the end of the trial period to avoid being charged for the subscription period. The free trial, just like the regular subscription is managed by Google, so you will have to do this through Google Play Store.

Note: Ate is not able to cancel your FREE trial on your behalf.

To cancel, you need to open the Play Store app on your phone where you can manage subscriptions, and tap on Ate and cancel.

Here, you can tap on the “Cancel subscription” button to cancel your trial.
