The Settings section in the Ate app, located in the upper left corner, serves as a hub for managing your account settings, and connections, and tailoring your journaling experience to your needs. Here’s how to navigate and utilize its features:

Accessing your Settings

Open the Ate app on your device and tap on the settings icon in the upper left corner of the screen.

Immediately when you open settings, chat with us, if you have questions or need assistance with the Ate app, you can access support resources from the How-To's and FAQs or if you're enjoying the Ate app rate us as well.

What can you find within Settings:

  1. Preferences

Decide on how you prefer to view things within the app. Whether that includes combining meals (turn this on or off), saving the images that you take within the Ate app to your camera roll, choosing your preference for the unit of measure, and deciding when you prefer the week to begin.

  2. Experiments

Have an ever bigger overview of your past experiments all visible in one location. View both previous experiments and available experiments before deciding to finish the current experiment or to start one. See all data associated with experiments. Or even start a new experiment.

  3. Customization

Customize favorites, Q&As, and favorites to better tailor your Ate journaling experience to you and your needs.

  4. Notifications

    Set custom reminders and notifications.

  5. Privacy

Decide who you share your Ate journal with. Manage your friend connections within the Ate app. You can connect with friends, family, or health professionals (that you are working with that use Ate Coach) to share journal entries and support each other on your wellness journeys. Also, you can manage your web-sharing link here. Reset your link if you believe that someone who has access to it should no longer.

  6. Account

Manage anything that has to do with your profile, Login settings, view your subscription, Reset path, and terms of service.
