Meal Q&A Bar Charts

Wondering how often you ate because you were hungry? Or how often you tagged a meal that made you feel great?
Bar charts give you a quick and easy way to see how you tagged your meals when you answered the Meal Q&As. This works for both the default Q&As and any custom ones you might have created.

How do we calculate this?
Within Ate, the number of meal entries is automatically calculated based on your responses within the given timeframe, and the frequency of each specific answer is tallied. We display this either as a simple count or as the percentage of all the meals where the question was answered.

Why is this useful?
It’s a great way to be more mindful of your choices and why you made them. For example, some of us often eat not because we are hungry, but because it’s time to eat. Even if our body is not asking for it, we eat.

With the chart you can easily track these, and make adjustments, if needed.

You can also use the Q&A feature and associated charts to track anything else you like. For example, I track my protein intake in a very easygoing way (πŸ’ͺ, πŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺ, πŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺ, 🚫), and use the charts to make sure I eat enough protein with my meals.

Hope that makes sense. Would love to hear what you have decided to track with the Meal Q&As? Any suggestions on how we can improve on this?

How to customize the chart?

Just tap on the little menu icon in the top right corner to bring up the chart menu.
